Auckland alt-rock band Clap Clap Riot will release their second album Nobody/Everybody on Valentines Day – February 14th, 2014 – just over one year since their well-lauded debut Counting Spins hit store shelves.
Recorded live at Mt Eden’s underground studio The Lab earlier this year, the new release shows a progression into a groovier-landscape than its precursor, sitting comfortably within the hazy stripped back vibe of the sixties. In most parts, due to the colourful production and mixing style of Kody Nielson (Opossom, The Mint Chicks), and contribution of the engineering maestro that is – Olly Harmer.
It’s very good. You should all order it now. From here.
Clap Clap Riot will celebrate the release with a nationwide tour in March, playing four dates around the country’s main centers, including:
Friday 7 March – Auckland – Galatos
Saturday 8 March – Wellington – Puppies
Friday 14 March – Christchurch – Dux Live
Saturday 15 March – Dunedin – Chicks’ Hotel
